London's Carnaval Del Pueblo is now in its 12th year and it is the biggest Latin American carnival in Europe. Starting at 12pm with a colourful float procession from Elephant Road, Carnaval Del Pueblo in London continues along Walworth Road and Albany Road, finishing at Burgess Park at 3pm. After the carnival procession reaches Burgess Park London, the official Carnaval Del Pueblo party in London begins and continues until 10pm.
Vibrant dances and costumes at Carnaval Del Pueblo in London will bring Burgess Park to life with the carnival vibes of Rio de Janeiro, Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, Bolivia and Ecuador.
Coinciding with the 200th anniversary of the Independence of many Latin American countries, Carnaval Del Pueblo London will have extra importance this year.
London Carnaval Del Pueblo will feature top-notch stars such as the salsa giants Grupo Niche, Adalberto Santiago, Henry Fiol, Willie Colón, Oscar D'León and Gilberto Santarosa. The Embajadores Vallenatos and Lizandro Mesa, the fathers of Western Cumbia as well as Vallenato music, will also be present at the London Carnaval Del Pueblo as will many of London along with Europe's best Latino artists.
One of the highlights of Carnaval Del Pueblo London will be an open-air Salsa Dance competition throughout afternoon, culminating in a main stage finale at prime time with the winners chosen by the public.
Carnaval Del Pueblo London is very child-friendly with a children's area of bouncy castles, workshops and fun fair rides. Four alcohol bars will keep parents entertained.
