London: A City Looking to the Future
London has an undeniably rich past but its future is also bright. A truly 'future facing' city, London has billions of pounds worth of new ventures and developments planned for its regeneration.
The 2012 London Olympics is not far away. With London ready to bloom with extra business and life, a new 200 hectare Olympic Park is being built in the Lower Lea Valley of East London. The new Olympic Park will dwarf other European city centre parks, being the biggest created for over 200 years. Featuring the main stadium, Olympic Village, Velodrome, Aquatics Centre and media centre; the London Olympic Park will be a diverse town in its own right.
