London's Hakkasan Serves Up the Best Dim Sum
Hakkasan is truly an elite central London restaurant and the first Chinese restaurant to be awarded a Michelin Star. The food is exquisite and the ambiance is sublime. Perfect for a special occasion with friends and family or a business meeting Hakkasan London ticks all the right boxes.
Located on Hanway Place near Tottenham Court Road, in the basement, the first impressions are not great however once you descend underground into the reception you are greeted by impressive modern décor with traditional Chinese motifs.
The brainchild of Alan Yau, also the creator of Wagamama's and the more recent Yauatcha restaurant, Hakkasan in London was rated 19th in the British Restaurant magazine global rankings of Top 50 Best Restaurants.
Renowned for some of the best Dim Sum in London, Hakkasan Restaurant in London has an excellent vegetarian selection, a superb collection of cocktails and staff that are efficient, polite and knowledgeable. It is worth asking the waiting staff their advice and recommendations on Dim Sum dishes as well as the selection of wines. Steamed king crab noodle rap, Jasmine tea-smoked pork ribs and crispy smoked duck are some of the dishes on offer. Cocktails include the Lychee Martini and Rose Petal Martini, unusual and incredibly tasty!
